biriken, 2006 ocak ayında Melis Tezkan ve Okan Urun tarafından oluşturuldu. biriken'in meselesi amaçların araçlar tarafından desteklenebilir olması. Herhangi bir formu veya içeriği amaç edinmiyoruz. Birikebilenler ve eklenenler doğrultusunda çalışıyoruz; bunlar formu da içeriği de kapsıyor.

People as places as people iki aşamada gerçekleşti. İlk aşaması mycroft'ta (galeri) bir hafta boyunca kalan yerleştirme (video-ses), ikinci aşaması da hemen ardından atölyede gerçekleştirdiğimiz yerleştirme-performanstır. Yaklaşık iki saat süren bu performans, herhangi bir "myspace"in gerçek bir zaman-mekânda yeniden oluşturulma denemesidir. İzleyiciler internet kullanıcılarının yerine geçer ve oluşturulan "gerçek sanallığa" katılırlar.

YAKINDOĞU'DA IHANET

Performans, video ve sahne tasarımı: biriken
Özen Yula'nın "Yakındoğu Üçlemesi"nin ilk oyunu olan ve bir "kişi"nin sessiz öfkesinin anlatıldığı Yakındoğu'da İhanet, ilk olarak santralistanbul'da gerçekleştirildi (18-19 Mayıs 2008). E-4 binasındaki çalışmada, oyun mekana göre kurgulandı.
Fransız Kültür Merkezi'ndeki gösteride, biriken, oyun kişisini defalarca denemesine karşın game-overlanamayan bir Yakındoğu kahramanı olarak yorumladı (3-4 Haziran 2008).
ÇGSG'nin santralistanbul'da düzenlediği Geçici İşgal'de ise biriken, metni, kendisine ayrılan bölümde bu defa enstalasyon – performansa dönüştürdü (15 Haziran 2008).
Ayrıca 2008'de Kargart'ta, 2009'da Ankara Uluslararası Film Festivalinde ve Duru Tiyatro'da sahnelenmiştir.
TRAHISON AU PROCHE ORIENT

Trahison au Proche Orient est la première pièce de la trilogie d'Özen Yula sur le Proche Orient. C'est la colère silencieuse d'un "nobody". Dans la première performance qui a eu lieu dans un bâtiment annexe de la santralistanbul - ancienne centrale électrique, le texte a été travaillé avec les propositions de l'espace; ce lieu hors-théâtre a été traité comme espace réel du personnage, son lieu de refuge, de suicide... (18-19 mai 2008).
Pour l'Institut Français, biriken a interprété le personnage comme un héros de Proche Orient voué à des tentations échouées d'autogameover. La présence de la scène et le traitement du texte rapprochaient la performance d'une forme plus théâtrale (3-4 juin 2008).
Pour le projet "Geçici İşgal" (Occupation Temporaire organisé par CGSG-Contemporary Performing Arts Initiative) où plusieurs compagnies ont investi, pendant deux jours, la petite galerie d'exposition de la santralistanbul, biriken a transformé son travail en une installation-performance (15 juin 2008).
Trahison au proche orient a également été présenté en septembre 2008 à Kargart, et a été programmé en 2009 dans le cadre du Festival du Film International d'Ankara puis au théâtre Duru Istanbul.
